Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior in Indonesia is currently still low, this is related to various health problems or the spread of environmental-based diseases which are epidemiologically still high in Indonesia. The aim is to determine the factors related to clean and healthy living behavior in Lula Hamlet, Wakal Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku tengah. This research is a type of quantitative research with an analytical observational approach with a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted in Lula Hamlet, Wakal Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Tengah, in June - August 2024. The population was 76 heads of families. The sample in the study was the entire population of 76 samples. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test. The results showed that age, education, knowledge, attitude, income and toilet ownership had a significant relationship to clean and healthy living behavior. It is expected to further increase activities that support the realization of clean and healthy living behavior such as health education and other social activities, so that it can increase community participation in clean and healthy living behavior.
